Technical description
Feeding section
- Automatic sheet feeding using Komfi-design feeding head for accurate single sheet feeding.
- System of guiding plates strengthens thin paper before lamination -> helps against wrinkling.
- Sheet misfeed sensor -> protects against film sticking to the pressure roll.
Laminating section
- Smooth film unwinding using airshaft and mechanical brake; a distribution roll helps to avoid folds on the film.
- The laminating cylinder is fast dry-heated (electrical resistance heating).
- Advanced temperature regulation -> precise temperature control, no film overheating.
- The sheet overlap is adjustable electronically even during machine run -> easy to operate and precise solution.
- Key operation parameters are entered via a touch screen -> fast and comfortable.
- Thrust of pressure roll is pneumatically adjustable on both sides -> strong and precise pressure system.
Snapping and stacking section
- Adjustable decurling bar for straightening sheets after lamination -> to reach flat output.
- Separation of sheets done by snapping roll with help of cutting knives and a skewing wheel -> reliable sheet separation with clean edge.
