Technical description

Feeding section

• Automatic sheet feeding using Komfi-design feeding head for accurate single sheet feeding.
• System of guiding plates strengthens thin paper before lamination -> helps against wrinkling.
• Sheet misfeed sensor -> protects against film sticking to the pressure roll.

Laminating section

• Smooth film unwinding using airshaft and pneumatic brake; a distribution roll helps to avoid folds on the film.
• The laminating cylinder is fast dry-heated (electrical resistance heating).
• Advanced temperature regulation -> precise temperature control, no film overheating.
• The sheet overlap is electronically adjustable even during the machine run -> easy to operate and precise solution.
• Key operation parameters are entered via a touch screen -> fast and comfortable.
• Thrust of pressure cylinder is pneumatically adjustable on both sides -> strong and precise pressure system.
• Synchronized control panels on laminating and snapping section -> easily accessible and comfortable operation.

Snapping and stacking section

• Adjustable decurling bar for straightening sheets after lamination -> to reach flat output.
• Separation of sheets done by snapping roll with help of built-in perforator or rotating knives combined with a skewing wheel -> reliable sheet separation with clean edge at high processing speed.
• Sensor of successful snapping of sheets (machine with stacker) -> high-quality and precise stacking.
